Wanted:
Gardeners and Nature Lovers – one & all - for a free self-guided map visit to the Scott Arboretum on the grounds of beautiful Swarthmore College.
Among the over 3,000 labeled species of woody plants and 100s of perennials & annuals to be seen on Sunday, June 4th, the Rhododendrons will still be in bloom and the rose garden will be perfuming the air.
We’ll meet at the Swarthmore Station of the Media/Elwin Line at 3:05; (a train from Center City arrives at the Swathmore Station at 3:01). A ride to & from the SEPTA Station will be provided for anyone wishing to use the train to Swathmore. Around 5:00, after having toured the Arboretum grounds, anyone who wants to will leave for Portobello Cafe – a 4 ½ star rated BYOB located only 10 minutes from the Arboretum at 1423 Chester Pike in Crum Lynne

It is not sufficient to RSVP on this Meet-up page. Jay and Ellen must be contacted directly. They need to know whether you are interested in visiting only the Arboretum or both the Arboretum and dinner at the Portabello Cafe.
